This comprehensive resource database was developed and maintained by: United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County - 211 Texas/United Way Help Line

2-1-1 is an easy to remember 3-digit dialing code that allows a caller to access more than 6,833 health and human care services in Bexar and the surrounding counties of Atascosa, Bandera, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Medina and Wilson. This online database is offered as an alternative to calling 2-1-1 and speaking with a trained Specialist.

Search for Help

To start a search, use one of the drop down buttons to the left.

The Service tab lists a variety of topics included in the database. Select the one that best matches what you are looking for. You will then be able to narrow your search by a service or location.

The Quick Search field allowsyou to type one or two words that describe the service you are looking for. A listing of services will display, and you can select the one that matches your need. You will then be able to futher narrow your search by location.

The Provider tab allows you to search by the name of agency, site/location or program name.

The For Service Providers tab allows agencies to update or add their information to our website.

Services are free and confidential, and our staff is available anytime, day or night.
